Khargone police arrested 6 members of a gang who cheated farmers in the name of attaching tractors and trolleys to the company

Khargone: Inspector General of Police Indore (Rural) Zone Indore Mr. Rakesh Gupta IPS and Deputy Inspector General of Police Nimar Range Khargone Mr. Tilak Singh IPS have been directed to take prompt action in relation to robbery, dacoity, theft, fraud, etc. in the district. In compliance of which, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Khargone Mr. Siddhartha Chaudhary IPS, Additional Superintendent of Police, City Mr. Neeraj Chorsia IPS, and Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Mr. Jitendra Singh Panwar IPS, all the sub-divisional officers of police and call the police station in-charges should take maximum action to ensure justice to the victims and directed them to catch the criminals.

In compliance with these instructions, under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Officer Badwah Mr. Vinod Dixit, 6 members of the fraudulent gang in the name of attaching the tractors and trolleys of the police station Bedia to the companies have committed fraud. On November 11, 2021, complainant Mahesh Karoda’s father Gajanad Karoda caste Gurjar resident of Badgaon had reported that he had a tractor from New Holland Company, a tractor from Govind Nayak resident of Katora, a tractor from Govind Dabur resident of Julwania, Pyar Singh More. Residents of Pokhar a tractor and Gyan Singh Lalu, Mayan Singh alias Mahesh, Ramlal, and Dilip Patel had taken a tractor from Rawat resident of Balkhad to a company in Dewas by asking them to attach their tractor at the rate of Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000 per month.

On the report of the complainant Mahesh Karoda, a crime was established against the accused at the Badiya police station and the investigation was taken up. During the investigation, it was learned that by the above accused, about 12 tractors and 5 trolleys have been fraudulently embezzled by many farmers. Taking the matter seriously, Superintendent of Police Khargone Mr. Siddharth Choudhary IPS under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Khargone Mr. Jitendra Singh Panwar IPS (Rural) constituted a team of police station Bedia under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Officer Badwah Mr. Vinod Dixit and directed to take action. Taking action, the police team arrested the accused Lalu’s father Thakur Village RC, Mayan Sing alias Mahesh’s father Nyarsa Solanki, Ramlal’s father Amar Singh Dabur resident Mohali, and Dilip Patel’s father Nahar Singh Patel.

On interrogating the accused, he, along with his other associates Kapoor resident Sanawad, Mukesh Yadav resident of Naushrabad, and Bhagirath Gurjar resident Mirzapur Dewas, used to mortgage the tractor by asking the farmers to take their tractor documents and put them in the company. On the confession of the accused, the police seized 12 tractors from different places and arrested 6 accused. The search for one of the accused is on.
