The District SP has made an appeal to the people celebrating Chhath Mahaparv to adhere to the following. Follow the instructions set forth by the District administration. Go on the set path and also drive the vehicles accordingly. Always park vehicles at the designated parking spot. Women and senior citizens must carry with them the house address and phone number of their known persons. If you are bringing your children to the Chhath Mahaparv festival and are going to give them a horse ride then see that the house’s address and phone numbers are placed in their pockets or hung around their necks. In case of any trouble always contact only the police or the volunteers available at the spot.
