Kolkata: A little before 5.00 pm today, an unexpected guest was found lying on the ground near the food canteen in the backyard of the Kolkata Police Museum library on Ripon Street. The bird appeared very sick and unable to fly. Accordingly, Sergeant Kunal Jha informed Park Street Police Station so that the Forest Department could be contacted. Finally, with help from Assistant Sub Inspector Mr. Ujjal Dutta, the sick bird was rescued and handed over to the Veterinary Hospital of Alipore Zoological Garden at around 6.00 pm. Now, the flight of the bird is a question of time.
