Kottayam: 211 bottles of foreign liquor of 500 ml were seized from a hotel in the Koorali area within the limits of Ponkunnam police station. The foreign liquor was seized from Shyam Hotel in Koorali. On the basis of confidential information received by the Kottayam district Police Chief Mrs. Shilpa Dyavaiah IPS.
The Ponkunnam police station staff SHO Mr. Sajin Louis Sub-Inspector Mr. Rajesh TG led by SCPOs Mr. Richard Xavier and Mr. Jayakumar, CPOs Mr. Shaji Chacko, Mr. Raveendran PM, Mr. Santosh Kumar, Mr. Abhilash, and Dvr-SCPO Mr. Ajeesh seized foreign liquor. The accused Shyam is a hotel owner Sabu’s son Sarath (30) was arrested from Ari Parakkal house in Koorali area on Koorali shore in Ilamkulam village. The liquor was stored in a room near the hotel.
