Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu: In a swift action to protect public health, Kauverypattinam Police arrested a man who was illegally practicing medicine without proper medical qualifications in Dasampatti village.
Acting on the instructions of the Krishnagiri District Joint Director, Pochampally Chief Medical Officer Narayanasamy inspected a so-called Health Care Centre being run inside a medical shop. During the inspection, the accused was found administering injections and glucose drips to patients despite having only a D-Pharm background. Several patients were also present at the time of the raid.
The medical shop and unauthorized health centre were sealed immediately, and medicines were seized. Following the complaint by the health officer, police registered a case, arrested the fake doctor, and produced him before the court, leading to his remand.
This decisive action reflects the strong commitment of Krishnagiri Police towards safeguarding people from illegal medical practices and ensuring public safety and trust in healthcare.
