Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu: Swift action by Perigai Police led to the arrest of three persons involved in illegal gambling near Thonn Muniyappalli temple in Midudepalli village.
Acting on specific information during routine patrol, the police team rushed to the spot, conducted a search, and apprehended the suspects. Officers also seized a pack of playing cards, ₹2,300 cash, and two two-wheelers used by the accused.
The arrested individuals were taken to the police station, and a case has been duly registered. Police reiterated that strict action will continue against all forms of illegal activities to ensure peace and order in the district.
