Tamil Nadu, Krishnagiri: Demonstrating quick response and dedicated public service, the Armed Reserve Police in Krishnagiri district acted swiftly to restore normalcy after heavy rain and strong winds uprooted several trees, disrupting life in the region.
One such major obstruction occurred near Central Theatre on Old Bangalore Road, within Krishnagiri Town Police Station limits, where fallen trees blocked footpaths and cut off electricity to homes in the Old Housing Board area. Responding to the situation, Superintendent of Police, Krishnagiri, promptly instructed Armed Reserve units to take action.
Police personnel rushed to the spot and efficiently cleared the fallen trees, enabling the restoration of traffic flow and public access. Their efforts not only ensured the safety and convenience of residents but also helped local authorities begin power restoration work.
