Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, April 26, 2025: In an impressive showcase of skill and discipline, Kulathupuzha Police Station clinched first place in the pistol firing competition organized by Thiruvananthapuram Range DIG Smt. S. Ajeetha Begum, IPS. The prestigious event, which saw the enthusiastic participation of officers from 100 police stations, was held at the SAP Camp, Thiruvananthapuram.
Inspector SHO Mr. Aneesh B. of Kulathupuzha Police Station proudly received the ever-rolling trophy from the Honorable Inspector General of Police, Traffic and Road Safety Management, Mr. S. Kaliraj Mahesh Kumar, IPS, during the award ceremony.
The competition also saw spirited participation across various ranks. In the DySP to SI category, with 152 officers competing, the winners were:
First Place: Sub-Inspector Smt. Saritha M., West Police Station, Kollam City
Second Place: Inspector SHO Mr. Mithun T.K., Kanjiramkulam Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram Rural
Third Place: Inspector SHO Harish G., Anchal Police Station, Kollam Rural
Awards for this category were presented by IGP and Transport Commissioner Mr. CH Nagaraju, IPS.
In the SI (Gr) rank to CPO level category, which witnessed a massive participation of 1822 officers, the winners were:
First Place: Civil Police Officer Mr. Ranjith S., Vilappilsala Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram Rural
Second Place: Woman Police Officer Smt. Safuramol, Pathanamthitta Women Police Station
Third Place: Civil Police Officer Vishakh S., Eroor Police Station, Kollam Rural
Inspector General of Police, South Zone, Mr. Shyam Sundar S., IPS, honored the winners of this category.
