The allegations were leveled in the media/social media against Tablighi Jammat, especially those who visited at Tabligh at Hazrat Nizammudin New Delhi for spreading COVID-19 in Delhi as well as other parts of the country. Though there were high apprehensions of spreading COVID-19 in Chandigarh through the members of Tablighi Jammat, who visited at Tabligh at Hazrat Nizammudin New Delhi and other places, these were nullified with the exemplary coordination between Chandigarh Police by Mr.Ram Gopal, DSP/CID and the members of the Muslim community of the city which is evident from the facts that no Tablighi found infected of COVID-19 out of 26TJs of Chandigarh who visited Hazrat Nizammudin New Delhi and other Tablighi.
