North and Middle Andaman: Under the watchful guidance of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, N&M Andaman District, the operation in North and Middle Andaman on 26.02.2024 was meticulously executed by the A&N police unit of police station Kalighat. Led by SI Silpi Singha, SHO PS Kalighat, a team including PCs Sushil Sarkar, Ranjit Biswas, Eileen, and Subrata Biswas undertook a thorough jungle search deep within the Talabagan forest. A substantial haul of 110 liters of Lehan, alongside associated paraphernalia, was successfully confiscated from their clandestine location within the jungle depths. Mr. Brij Mohan Meena, DANIPS, SDPO Diglipur, ensured vigilant oversight throughout the operation, culminating in the swift destruction of all seized items and dealing a significant blow to the illegal liquor manufacturing network.
