Salem: A case had been filed at the Salem AlI Women Police Station that in 2016, Venkatesan from Salem had sexually harassed a girl. In the course of the hearing of the case in the Salem Mahila Court, on 28.01.2020 as the hearing was held the court gave the final verdict and the accused was sentenced to life imprisonment with a fine of Rs.50,000/-. For conducting an excellent investigation in this case and getting the accused the punishment due to him the Police Inspector Mrs. Saradha and Sub-Inspector Mrs. Saraswathy were appreciated by the Salem Municipal Police Commissioner Mr. Senthil Kumar I.G.P.
