The CEIR portal, an initiative of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India, enables tracking and blocking of lost or stolen mobile phones across all telecom networks, assisting law enforcement agencies in recovery and return to owners.

The public is hereby informed and encouraged that in the event of losing a mobile phone, they should promptly:

Lodge a police complaint regarding the loss.

Report the incident through the KSP Mobile App.

Register the loss on the CEIR web portal – [https://www.ceir.gov.in](https://www.ceir.gov.in) – by providing:

   * Details of the mobile phone (IMEI number)

   * Identity proof of the owner

   * Copy of the police complaint

The Chikkamagaluru District Police continues to emphasize public cooperation and awareness to ensure faster recovery of lost or stolen mobile devices and to prevent their misuse.
