Madurai: On the direction of the Madurai Municipal Police Commissioner Mr. Davidson Devasirvadam IPS, on 28.1.2020 the D1 Thalakulam Law and Order Police Inspector Mr. Malachyamy conducted a raid in a house located on 2nd Street PB pool, Marutpandiyar Nagar, and it was discovered that by keeping women the accused were making money by doing sex work.
On further investigation the police came to know that the persons involved in the activity were Selvam 43/20, Sinnachami, Mullainagar Nagar, Madurai; Sridhar 32/20, Muthuramalingam, Dattaneri, Madurai; Suma 35/20, Kalimuthu, Maruthupandiyar Nagar, Madurai; Adhiswari 32/20, Kumar, Seloor, Madurai; Adheswari 55/19, Murugan, Panangadi, Madurai; Swethabegham 40/20, Saleem, PB Kulam and they were arrested and sent to judicial custody.
