Madurai, Tamil Nadu: In a proactive initiative ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections, Madurai District Police conducted a large-scale awareness flag march to promote voter confidence and ensure a secure polling environment.
The march, organized under the guidance of district authorities, covered key areas in the Samayanallur sub-division, spreading awareness about the importance of 100% voter participation and fear-free voting. Led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Anandaraj, the event witnessed the participation of over 50 police personnel, including inspectors, constables, and forces from the Central Reserve Police Force.
Through this coordinated effort, Madurai Police reinforced public trust and demonstrated their commitment to conducting elections in a peaceful, secure, and democratic manner.
