Begusarai, Bihar: In a remarkable achievement under the Zero Tolerance campaign against criminals, Bihar Police have arrested one accused with a huge cache of ammunition. Acting swiftly on secret information, a team from City Police Station, Begusarai, apprehended Ashok Tanti (55), resident of Panchveer, Sahebpur Kamal, on September 14, 2025.
During the operation, police seized 120 live cartridges and a mobile phone from the accused. Following the arrest, a case was registered under Case No. 389/25, dated 14.09.25, under Sections 25 (1-B) A/26/30 of the Arms Act. Further investigation is underway.
This operation once again reflects the dedication and efficiency of Bihar Police in curbing illegal arms activities and ensuring the safety of citizens.
