Hyderabad City: On 22.6.2022 the Malakpet crime team apprehended One Notorious Interstate House Burglary Offender Syed, Aejaz alias Imran(27) of Bangalore, Karnataka State at Rajeev Chowk, Dilsukh Nagar.
The Police recovered 85 grms gold Ornaments, and 2.5 lakh net cash from his possession.
The accused has confessed to the police to the 5 cases registered against him at PS Malakpet, Hyderabad; Dabeerpura Police Station, Hyderabad; Musheerabad Police Station, Hyderabad.
The accused was previously involved in 9 cases and cases were registered against him at Kuvempunagar Police Station, Bangalore; Kuvempunagar Police Station, Bangalore; Devaraja Police Station, Udayagiri Police Station, Ashokapuram Police Station, Vijayanagar Police Station, all in Mysore; Ghantakeri Police Station, Hubli, Karnataka; and Vidyaranyapuram Police Station, Mysore.
On 14-05-2022 at 8:30 pm the police received complaint from Mr. Syed Iftequar Uddin S/o Syed Sharfuddin, Age: 35 yrs, r/o Venkatadri Nagar Colony, Malakpet, Hyderabad in which he stated that on 13-05-2022 at about 8:00 pm he went to his uncle’s home to see his wife and children by locking his house and he came back at about 2:30 pm, and noticed that the main door lock was partially opened and the almirah was also broken open in the master bed room. He checked the locker and he found the gold ornaments and net cash of Rs.5 lakh were stolen by some unknown person.
Basing on the complaint registered a case was registered and investigation was initiated and during course of investigation the Malakpet crime team verified about 100-120 CCTV cameras footages and identified the accused person.
The accused person Syed Aejaz alias Imran is a notorious day House burglar and inter-state offender and he committed several offences in Mysore and Bangalore Cities up to 2018. After that the Bangalore and Mysore police were observing his activities and so he decided to commit offences in Hyderabad. Since 2018 he visited 3 times Hyderabad and committed 5 house burglaries at Dabeerpura PS in 2018, Hussaini Alam PS in 2018, Musheerabad PS in 2021, and Malakpet PS in 2022.
The case was investigated by Addl. Inspector Mr. D.Nanu Naik with the assistance of crime staff under the supervision of Mr. K.Srinivas, Inspector of Police, Malakpet Police station, under the guidance of Mr. N.Venkata Ramana, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Malakpet Division., Mr. P.Srinivas Reddy, Addl. DCP., and Mr.G. Chakravarthy, I/C DCP of East Zone, Hyderabad.
