Tuticorin: According to the order of District Superintendent of Police Dr. L. Balaji Saravanan IPS, Tuticorin City Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Satyaraj IPS, under their supervision Mr. Rajaram, Inspector of Southern Police Station. headed by Assistant Inspector Mr. Ravikumar, and the Special Police Force, on 9.9.2022, while on patrol duty, caught and interrogated a person standing suspiciously at Thoothukudi Aksar Junction area within the limits of Southern Police Station, and identified him as Anthony Muthu son Selvin alias Selvam (62) of Sivanthakulam Road area, Thoothukudi. He was also found to be in possession of cannabis for illegal sale. Immediately, the said special force police arrested the accused Selvin alias Selvath and seized 500 grams of ganja from him. Also, the police of Thenpakkam Police Station have registered a case and are investigating.
