Telangana, Hyderabad: DCP Sudindra stated that the sale of hazardous Chinese manja has been halted following the directives of the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police. He emphasized that the synthetic kite strings pose a significant threat to both human and wildlife safety, noting that several lives have been lost due to their use. Between October and January, 107 cases were registered in connection with these strings, leading to the arrest of 148 individuals. Law enforcement authorities also seized bobbins worth Rs.88 lakh. He urged people to exercise caution today.
