Thrissur: Following a tip-off, Sub-Inspector Baiju K from the Thrissur police arrested Sarath (32) of Tharail, Chowvannur Chinchooty, Kunnamkulam, and Vishnu (24) of Erath, Kunnamkulam Kanpayiyur, at the Ghakkara junction under Ollur police station. The two were found in possession of approximately 103.530 grams of MDMA, allegedly brought for sale. Sarath has ongoing cases in Valapad and Kunnamkulam Police Stations. The arrests were made with assistance from Thrissur City Police Commissioner Ilango RIP’s special investigation team, DANSAF. The team included Sub-Inspector Baiju KC, Senior Civil Police Officer Vinod, and Civil Police Officers Sherin Jose and Albin.
In a separate case, Sub-Inspector Jees Mathew and his team apprehended Mobish (35), a resident of Elamthurthi, at Madassery home with approximately 53 grams of MDMA. Mobish has eight pending cases at Ollur police station. His arrest was executed by a team comprising Senior Civil Police Officer Ullas and Civil Police Officer Albin. All accused were produced in court and subsequently remanded.
