The focus of the awareness programs was diverse, covering crucial topics such as child protection laws, the prohibition of child marriage, the paramount importance of education, and the detrimental effects of drug use. The keynote address delivered by Prof. Aparna Lakshmanan added academic depth to the proceedings.

Dr. Abdul Salam, the Superintendent and Cardiologist of Alappuzha Medical College, spearheaded the medical camp. Under his guidance, Variyam residents underwent thorough medical examinations, and essential medicines were distributed. This holistic approach not only addressed immediate health concerns but also aimed to create a lasting impact on the overall well-being of the community.

Furthermore, the event served as a platform to address the grievances and demands voiced by the residents of Variyam Kudi. Many issues were promptly resolved, thanks to the concerted efforts of the organizers. Those that required further attention were taken up with the relevant Ernakulam Departments for swift resolution.

The medical camp itself was a collaborative effort with the Kothamangalam Peace Valley Foundation, showcasing the power of community partnerships in promoting health and well-being. This initiative, driven by a shared commitment to social welfare, exemplified the potential impact of coordinated efforts in uplifting and empowering communities.
