A Senior Police Officer said, in the meeting stress was applied on increasing intensive and coordinated checking and patrolling at vulnerable points to curb movement of illicit liquor, firearms, cash and musclemen. Further, in the meeting emphasis was given on giving importance to Tenant verification, guesthouse checking and sensitization of cyber cafe owners, and second-hand car dealers in order to strengthen the counter-terrorism measures, especially during the elections, by taking action against anti-social elements. A briefing was given on the sharing of advance intelligence to all the officers having inter-State ramifications on law and order, the police added.
