Chhattisgarh, Raigarh, April 17, 2025: In a heartening display of community engagement, the Jute Mill Police Station in Raigarh district organized a special felicitation ceremony to honor meritorious students, dedicated teachers, health workers, and village Kotwars who have contributed meaningfully to society. This initiative, held under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Shri Divyang Kumar Patel, aimed to foster stronger ties between the police and the public while encouraging active citizen participation in social development.
Led by Police Station In-Charge Inspector Prashant Rao (Aher), the event saw the felicitation of 10 outstanding individuals from the police station jurisdiction. Certificates and mementos were awarded in recognition of their contributions in fields such as education, healthcare, community service, and grassroots policing.

Speaking at the event, Inspector Prashant Rao emphasized that this initiative reflects SP Divyang Patel’s vision of community policing and crime control through social cooperation. He also announced plans to expand the program across other police stations in the district to continue recognizing responsible citizens and promoting a culture of mutual respect and collaboration between the police and the public.
