Lunglei: The cooperation and active support of the public is always invaluable and prerequisite in both prevention and detection of crimes. During the month of March – April, one Computer Set and Scanner which was totally worth of Rs.32, 000/- was stolen from one residence at Lungrang South which is a medium size village located in Lungsen Block of Lunglei district.
The accused person involved in the theft of the Computer Set and Scanner is Ramsangliana(24) s/o R.Blakdingliana and Lalruatkima(24) s/o Zonuna who was involved in the theft of a gas cylinder. Both the accused persons are from South Lungrang. They were arrested yesterday by Lungsen Police Station and have recovered the stolen articles.
The Mizoram Police appreciated the NGO Lungrang South volunteers for their vigil and was thankful for their support. The Police said once again we seek constant public support in our relentless drive against all kinds of illegal activities.
