East Godavari: On 26-10-2021 at Chittoor Zone, Sukumamidi Bridge under Motugudem Police Station, under the supervision of Chittoor Sub-Division ASP. Mr. G. Krishnakanth IPS, Circle Inspector Mr. G. Yuvakumar, Motugudem Sub-Inspector Mr. V. Sattibabu, and their staff inspected the vehicles and found two persons illegally loading coconuts and loading cannabis under them.
The three people were arrested while piloting a cannabis van in a Honda i-20 Asta car bearing registration No. AP37CB8888. The details of the seized property by the police are 2000 kg of cannabis, valued at about Rs.2 crore, An Eicher van bearing registration No.TS12 UA 9816, A Honda i-20 Asta car beraing registration No.AP37CB-8888, Cash Rs.2000/- and three cell phones.
