Hyderabad: Today on 17.09.2021, tutors from Akshaya Vidya NGO visited the Bharosa Centre of Hyderabad City Police. These are young boys and girls studying inter to a degree from poor families who volunteer and assist young children from downtrodden families in their studies. Each student teaches a group of 30 children from slum areas. The foundation sponsors the education of these tutors and is presently involved in helping over 1500 children. Mr. Anjani Kumar, IPS the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad interacted with these tutors who work selflessly under the leadership of Mr. Prasad and applauded the efforts of the foundation. He encouraged them to continue their efforts to report crime by anticipating anti-social elements among people in proximity. Mrs. Shikha Goel, IPS, Addl. CP Crimes appreciated the voluntary services by these tutors and thanked them for their yeoman service in the slum areas of Hyderabad. She encouraged these students to dream big and work hard towards achieving their aim. She asked them to be the eyes and ears of the Police and help in creating awareness about issues relating to women and children, encouraging them to be vocal by being the voice of the voiceless.
Jt. CP, East Zone has initiated this program to instill confidence among the tutors that police always support good and all good should be united to fight against bad while Addl. DCP She Teams and Bharosa have conducted a session by explaining to them about the working of Bharosa and SHE Teams and 24*7 approachability and availability of SHE Teams and Bharosa to cater to the services of the needy.
Founder of Akshaya Vidya Mr. Prasad has thanked Hyderabad City Police for an insightful session on Bharosa and SHE Teams and that they will act as ambassadors of Bharosa in society.
