Vijayawada City: According to the orders given by City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata IPS, East Zone DCP to modernize South Division Governor Peta Police Station under NTR Police Commissionerate.
Under the supervision and with instructions from South Division A.C.P. Mr. Vishal Gunni IPS. Dr. B. Ravikiran, Governor Peta Inspector Mr. Sridi Suresh along with his staff modernized the Governor Peta Police Station and set up a waiting hall for women police personnel and modernized the existing CC cameras to cover areas like Hanuman Peta, Besant Road, Lenin Center etc. under the Governor Peta Police Station, with high quality. A total of 53 IP-based CC cameras have been installed and connected to the Sub Control in the Governor’s Peta Police Station for their monitoring.
Today on 16.9.2022 City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata IPS inaugurated the modernized sub-control of CC cameras and waiting halls for female police personnel in Governor Peta Police Station. After that, the performance of CC cameras was monitored. Those who contributed to the modernization of the Governor Peta Police Station were felicitated with a shawl and a memento. The staff members who played a key role in modernization were Mr. G. Phanendhar, Head Constable Mr.R. Bhagwan Naik, Constable Ms. V. Sonia Babu and Home Guard Mr.B. CH. Sundaram were congratulated.
City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata IPS along with East Zone DCP was present in this program. Mr. Vishal Gunni IPS, West Zone in-charge DCP. Mr. Kolli Srinivas, South Division A.C.P. Dr. B.
