Rachakonda: On the occasion of Police commemoration Day, a Mega Blood donation camp was organized by Rachakonda police at Amberpet police quarters on 20th October 2020. More than 1500 policemen, women, RKSC members, Citizens donated their blood on this occasion. Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS leading from the front himself donated blood on this occasion.
Speaking to the media Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS said “Blood donation is a noble initiative which saves the lives of human beings. We remember the supreme sacrifice of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation for our better tomorrow in this Police Commemoration Week. Entire week-long activities are planned. I hope society also takes this message as a lesson”. The blood donation camp was organized in assistance with “INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY”.
Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS congratulated the CAR Headquarters team for organizing the blood donation camp. CP Rachakonda Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS, ADCP Mr. Shankar Naik, ADCP Mr. Shameer CAR headquarter, Dr. K Pichi Reddy of Indian Red Cross, Ms. Savithri Muthyala of RKSC, and other police officials were present on this occasion. Many police officers also donated blood on this occasion. CP Rachakonda has personally thanked all donors for this gesture for a noble cause.
