Rachakonda: Today Rachakonda CP Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS and Addl. CP Mr. Sudheer Babu IPS interacted with newly reported 98 Probationary Sub-Inspectors of Police of 2020 batch. Of these 98, 73 are civil SIs and 25 are RSIS.
While 15 of them will be going to Grey Hounds for further training, the rest of them will undergo various training in Rachakonda before going for further field training in Greyhounds.
Addressing them, Commissioner of Police Rachakonda Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat, IPS., explained to the probationary officers about the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, right from its inception till date with its different wings, various Policing initiatives of Telangana Police and Rachakonda Police and do’s and don’ts of Police officers. He asked the PSIs to maintain integrity and discipline, to strive to excel in one or two chosen fields of interest in Policing to accept the challenges of the profession by overcoming them with hard work and commitment towards the job and society. He further advised the PSIs to constantly improve their knowledge on various aspects of Policing especially on the technical front and also aspire for higher jobs.
The Additional CP Mr. Sudheer Babu IPS in his interaction with the PSIS asked them to be empathetic towards women, children, weaker sections of society and dispense their duties in such a way that the public trusts in Police improve and the Police station is considered a temple. He further stated that the PSIS should stick to values, ethics, and high standards of morale throughout their tenure including the tough times which is common in the profession.
The Commissioner of Police and Additional Commissioner of Police wished the Probationary Sub Inspectors of Police would rise to the expectations of the officers in further building up the image and add to the sheen of Rachakonda and Telangana Police.
