On the morning of April 17, 2023, Mrs. Ajitha Vejendla, an IPS officer who was serving as the 14th Battalion Commandant of Anantapur A.P.S.P., assumed the position of NTR District Law & Order DCP (Rural) as part of the general transfers of SPs in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
