Karnataka, Bengaluru: A disturbing incident has come to light in Bengaluru’s Hongsandra area where a woman named Jayamma was found dead inside her home. The victim, who had been living separately from her husband for the past 20 years, was discovered after a concerned friend alerted the house owner when Jayamma failed to respond to calls. Upon entering the house with a spare key, they found her deceased with a single injury mark on her head.
The Bommanahalli police have launched an investigation into what appears to be a murder, though they await the post-mortem report to confirm the exact cause of death. Jayamma, who lived with her younger son, a bus driver in Anekal, was alone at the time of the incident. Police have expressed suspicion about possible involvement of her elder son, who was not living with her, and are working to establish both the perpetrator and motive behind the suspected murder. The younger son was informed of his mother’s death by the police after the discovery of her body.
