Mysuru City, Karnataka: In a proactive effort to strengthen police-public relations and enhance community awareness, the Hon’ble Commissioner of Police, Mysuru, Smt. Seema Latkar, IPS, personally led a door-to-door campaign this morning in Paduvarahalli village. The initiative aimed to directly inform residents about the police department’s policies, services, and citizen safety measures.
During the campaign, informative posters detailing key aspects of police engagement were affixed to homes, ensuring every household received crucial information firsthand. This outreach is part of the police department’s broader efforts to foster transparency, trust, and accessibility within local communities.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), Kumari R.N. Bindumani, IPS, and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime & Traffic), Shri K.S. Sundar Raj, along with senior officers and police staff, accompanied the Commissioner during the visit, highlighting the significance of the initiative.
