South Goa: Under the leadership of PI Ponda, a highly successful operation was conducted by the South district team, targeting the illicit narcotics trade. As a result of their meticulous efforts, the team apprehended two individuals, namely Budharam Bishnoi and Jagdish Bishnoi, who were found to be involved in the illegal activities. In addition to the arrests, a substantial amount of psychotropic drugs, with an estimated value of Rs.14,52,100/-, was seized as evidence.
This commendable achievement signifies a significant blow to the narcotics network operating within the region. The seized drugs not only have a substantial street value but also pose a severe threat to public health and safety.
