North & Middle Andaman: Celebrating the launch of the New Criminal Laws on 01/07/2024, the North & Middle Andaman District Police spearheaded a series of engaging events to raise public awareness and participation. Under the leadership of all Police Stations in the district, a comprehensive array of events was organized, highlighting the significance of these new legal provisions.
Each Police Station conducted events to educate the community on the implications and applications of the New Criminal Laws. Police Station Diglipur organized a Bike Rally to emphasize community involvement and spread awareness throughout the region. The rally saw enthusiastic participation from local residents, community leaders, and police force members, with riders adorned with banners highlighting key aspects of the new laws. They traversed major routes in Diglipur, drawing attention and sparking conversations among onlookers.
Additionally, Police Station Mayabunder conducted a Walkathon, promoting health and well-being while educating participants about their rights and responsibilities under the updated laws. Moreover, Police Station Rangat organized a Run for Fun, combining fitness with education and encouraging public participation and interaction. Runners, adorned with banners and placards highlighting key aspects of the new laws, created an energetic and informative atmosphere as they raced through the main streets of Rangat.
These events not only educated citizens but also strengthened community bonds. The launch of the new Criminal Laws marks a significant step towards enhancing public safety and justice in the North & Middle Andaman District.
