Hyderabad: On Monday, Honorable Home Minister Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali inaugurated two new buildings for the Humayun Nagar Police Station and Kulsumpura Police Station in the South West Zone. The Humayun Nagar Police Station is a G+4 structure, while the Kulsumpura Police Station consists of three floors. Both buildings have been designed to cater to the needs of the police department, with facilities such as a visitor’s lounge, a reception desk, multiple officer cabins, CCTV viewing centers, meeting rooms, and ample parking space.

During the inauguration, the dignitaries had the opportunity to inspect the newly constructed facilities and interact with the staff. Speaking at the event, the Honorable Home Minister expressed his appreciation for the state government’s pioneering initiatives in the police department. He highlighted some of the key changes implemented, including monthly maintenance budgets for police stations, a large video wall in the TSPICCC (Telangana State Police Integrated Command and Control Center) to monitor 10 lakh CCTV feeds, state-of-the-art technology, and a significant patrol fleet. The Home Minister commended the city police officers and Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Mr. Anand for their efforts in maintaining strict discipline and ensuring law and order.
