Vizianagaram: State Municipal and Urban Development Minister Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana inaugurated the newly constructed police station building in Bobbili town of Vizianagaram district on February 18.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Mr. Botsa Satyanarayana said that it was a good development to construct and start a new building for the police station at a cost of Rs.40 lakh crore and make it accessible to the public. He said three more police buildings were under construction in Salur, Kurupam, and Chinamerangi in the district. He said the government was currently undertaking the construction of police buildings to cater to the needs of the people.
District SP Mrs. M. Deepika, IPS said the working style of the police would also change as the work area would be pleasant. She said people can come to the police station fearlessly for justice, be aware of their problem, take action within the law, and do justice to the victims.
