Siliguri: The Siliguri Metropolitan Police is coming up with a new project named “NAZARDARI” in association with CII North Bengal and CREDAI.
The formal announcement regarding the project was made by Mr. Gaurav Sharma IPS CP Siliguri today in presence of the members of ICC and CREDAI.
In this project 400 CCTV cameras would be installed at different locations under Siliguri, Pradhan Nagar, and Bhaktinagar Police Station areas covering the shadow zones, and would be very useful in the prevention and detection of crime, traffic management, and in maintaining law and order.
This project is scheduled to be completed by April 2022.
