<![CDATA[Heroin worth Rs.26 lakh was recovered from a Nigerian national and was arrested on Friday, the Delhi Police said on Sunday. The 26-year-old man was previously arrested by the Punjab Police for drug trafficking. He moved to Delhi after completing his sentence and started supplying heroin. The police received a tip-off, laid a trap in Palam on Friday and arrested the accused. “A cursory search led to the recovery of 260 gram of heroin, worth nearly Rs.26 lakh in the international market. A case has been registered,” said the Crime Branch. He allegedly told the police that he came to India on business visa in 2011 and started exporting clothes to Nigeria but suffered losses. He came in contact with locals who introduced him to drugs and gradually started supplying drugs.]]>
