Vijayawada: Mr. K.V. Rajendranath Reddy IPS, Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh have flagged off the Suicide Prevention Awareness Rally from Benz Circle to Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium, Vijayawada.
Every Year Sept 10 is observed as Suicide Prevention Day to raise awareness among public against suicides. Andhra Pradesh Police in association with Indian Psychiatric Society Andhra Pradesh has conducted awareness campaigns and Rallies throughout the state.
Mr. Kanthi Rana Tata IPS Commissioner of Police, NTR District, Mr. Prof. Hema Chandra Reddy, Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education and other senior Police officers, police personnel and students have participated in this program.
