Odisha: The Odisha Police, since the Lockdown due to the life-threatening, contagious, infectious virus called Coronavirus or COVID-19 has been initiated to prevent the spread of the virus which could most probably take the life of the affected person. The main guidelines of maintaining cleanliness and social distancing were the critical factors to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The police punished the people violating these guidelines, and cases were also being filed against the violators.
From the morning of 5.5.2020 to the morning of 6.5.2020 21 cases were registered by the Odisha Police for the violation of guidelines on COVID-19. Out of these 18 cases were for the violation of Lockdown, 2 cases for violation of Home Quarantine and 1 case was for other related issues.
