Telangana, Rachakonda: Mr. K. Muralidhar retired on 31.1.2025 as the SOT DCP of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate and was honored by CP Shri Sudhir Babu IPS at his office.
On this occasion, CP Garu commended Muralidhar’s remarkable journey, highlighting how he began his service as a Sub-Inspector and, through dedication and outstanding performance, steadily progressed to the rank of DCP. He particularly appreciated Muralidhar’s commitment and resilience in handling conflicts and life-threatening situations in high-risk areas. The CP praised his leadership in various departments over the years, acknowledging his invaluable contributions to the police force. Officers were encouraged to draw inspiration from Muralidhar’s vast experience and expertise.
Along with DCP Muralidhar, Sub-Inspector K. Satyanarayana of LB Nagar Police Station and Head Constable D. Kumaraswamy of Bhuvanagiri Town Police Station, who also retired on the same day, were congratulated by the CP. He made special mention of D. Kumaraswamy’s bravery during a sudden and deadly encounter with Naxalites in Bhuvanagiri, recognizing his dedication and courage. The CP advised all retiring officers to enjoy a peaceful post-retirement life with their families, prioritize their health, and stay disciplined in managing pensions and financial matters. Officials were instructed to ensure that all due benefits and entitlements are provided promptly.
On this occasion, several officers who had worked with DCP Muralidhar at various levels and in different departments shared their experiences. He was widely praised for his dedication to the profession, friendly demeanor, cooperative nature, and strong leadership qualities.
The event was attended by DCP Malkajgiri Padmaja IPS, DCP LB Nagar Praveen Kumar IPS, DCP Crime Arvind Babu, DCP Maheshwaram Sunitha Reddy, DCP SOT 1 Ramana Reddy, DCP Traffic Srinivas, DCP Admin Indira, DCP Cyber Crime Nagalakshmi, DCP Women Safety Upa Vishwanath, along with several other DCPs, ACPs, Police Officers Association Presidents CH Bhadra Reddy and Krishna Reddy, other officers, and family members.
