Greater Chennai: The Greater Chennai Police Commissioner has been instructed to detain the persons who are involving in criminal activities in GOONDAS Act.
Following this, Inspectors of Police have recommended the following accused to detain under Goondas Act.
Raja alias Baby Raja (M/26) of Mannivakkam who has a case registered in T-3 Korattur Police Station, Teja (M/25) of Egmore who has a case registered in T-3 Korattur Police Station, Saravanan alias Ravanan (M/26) of Ayanambakkam who has a case registered in T-5 Thiruverkadu Police Station, Imran alias Imrankhan (M/21) of Chengalpattu who has a case registered in S-5 Pallavaram Police Station, Vijay Anandh alias Vijay (M/23) of Ashthinapuram who has a case registered in S-13 Chrompet Police Station, Ranjith Kumar alias Chinna (M/30) of Chrompet who has a case registered in S-13 Chrompet Police Station.
Accordingly, Commissioner of Police Mr. Sankar Jiwal, IPS has ordered to detain the above said accused under Goondas Act and they were detained under GOONDAS Act.
