Siliguri: Today on 9.4.2022 evening acting on source information Officers and men of NJP Police Station detained one truck bearing Registration No. AS08C/1712 at Jatiakali More.
On search 20 numbers of nylon packets containing Ganja having total weight 208 kilograms which was kept concealed in a hidden chamber inside the cabin of the truck was recovered.
The driver of the truck namely Dinesh Sahani of Bihar has been arrested and taken into custody.
A specific case under the relevant sections of law is being initiated at NJP Police Station.
