Siliguri: On 27.3.2022 late evening acting on reliable intelligence, Officers and men of the Detective Department (D.D) SPC apprehended one person namely Nemai Byadh (29) at Amaidighi check post, under NJP Police Station SPC.
On search after complying the procedures under the NDPS Act 6000 YABA TABLETS have been recovered from the exclusive possession of Nemai Byadh.
The contraband tablets have been seized and the accused arrested and taken into custody. The value of the seized contraband tablets is 18 Lakhs. A specific case has been started at NJP Police Station and investigation is on. The good work done by the officers and men of D.D SPC in busting this crime is commendable. Siliguri Metropolitan Police remains committed to the initiative.
