Siliguri: In yet another successful operation, today morning, team SOG with the assistance of Siliguri Police Station apprehended one Rasidul Hossain (28) of West Khatebari, Gadalerkuti, Police Station Mathabhanga Coochbehar and recovered/seized one black colour hand bag containing 275 grams of Brown Sugar and cash Rs.50000/- from his exclusive possession. The value of the contraband Drugs is Rs.55 Lakhs.
The accused person was apprehended near Jalpai More under Siliguri Police Station and the search and seizure was done in accordance with the provisions laid down under the NDPS Act, in the presence of an Executive Magistrate. Our campaign “SayNoToDrugs” shall continue to fight the menace of Drugs in our City.
