Siliguri: Acting on specific intelligence team SOG SPC with the assistance of Siliguri police station conducted raid in a salon named and styled as SAVI, located at Subashpally Bazar under Siliguri Police Station and arrested 4 persons namely Shankar Shi, Gour Kundu, Biplab Majumder, and Arindam Saha alias Shiva who were found engaged in gambling on IPL cricket match with the help of their Mobile phone, using an online App www.Rupeexch247.com, and www.Skyfair.com for their wrongful gain and wrongful loss to others.
In the raid cash of Rs.1,66, 000/- , 7 numbers of Mobile phones and one diary has been recovered and seized from their possession.
A specific case is being registered under proper sections of law at Siliguri Police Station.
