Vellore: Police Forum opening ceremony for 11 schools including two private schools and 9 government schools under Vellore KV Kuppam Police Station was held at Government Boys High School. Police Inspector Mrs. Senthil Kumari, presided over.
The head teacher of the concerned schools, 2 students each from 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th classes, one male teacher, one female teacher and one policeman will work in this committee. If they come to know of wrong doings and crimes happening in and around the school, they can report it to the complaint number 9092700100. Information will be kept confidential. It was informed in the program that relevant authorities will be informed and appropriate action will be taken.
