Rachakonda: The Rachakonda Police Commissionerate is the largest Commissionerate in the country. Rachakonda Police has conducted the “Operation Muskaan VII” program from 1st July to 31st July 2021 for tracing of missing children, Identifying potential Child Labor and Adolescents in Hazardous occupations.
As part of this operation, a total of 8 teams was formed Division wise in Rachakonda Commissionerate consisting of 1 SI and 4 PCs in each Sub-Division, one AHTU Rachakonda Team, and 8 She Teams Division wise also conducting operations to rescue the children this month from “01st July to 31st July 2021”. As such the teams have conducted rescue operations on various industries companies and other establishment shops and also special drive on minor begging children and then uploaded in “DarpanApp”.
During the period, conducted Operation Muskan-VII’ Rescued Children from 01.07.2021 to 31.07.2021. A total of 259 Children including 24 Begging children have been rescued within the limits of Rachakonda Commissionerate. Out of which 117 Boys and 40 Girls belong to within the State and 60 Boys and 42 Girls are belonging to other states. Operation Muskan -VII rescued the children belonging to the following states:
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Nepal, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Telangana.
During the period registered 32 cases under the relevant sections of IPC, Juvenile Justice Act, Child Labor Act, and Bonded Labor Act against the accused.
