Srikakulam: Under the umbrella of Operation Zigba Phase-4, a concerted initiative unfolded, orchestrated by the collaborative efforts of Srikakulam AHTU Police, Sarubujjili Police, ALO, BBA, ICPS, and Child Line Education. This joint task force meticulously executed a comprehensive rescue operation spanning the domains of hotels, general stores, mechanic sheds, sweet shops, and cloth stores situated in the Amdalavalasa and Sarubujjili mandals. The primary objective was to systematically dismantle the deeply entrenched system of child labor within these establishments.
Within the scope of this endeavor, two child laborers were successfully identified and subsequently rescued. Following their rescue, they were promptly presented before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). In adherence to the CWC’s directives, the rescued child laborers dutifully complied with the stipulated orders, marking a significant step in eradicating the scourge of child labor from the targeted regions. This multifaceted operation exemplified the collaborative commitment of various law enforcement and child protection agencies towards creating a safer and more secure environment for vulnerable children.
