Hyderabad City: Police focus on OYO rooms in Hyderabad. City Police Commissioner Mr. CV Anand IPS said that parties were spotted in these OYO rooms. He made the key remarks while speaking to the media at the CP office in Bashir Bagh.
Police Commissioner Mr. CV Anand IPS suggested that the operators of OYO rooms in the city should abide by the rules. CCTV cameras were to be made available at every OYO center, mandating that 6 months of registered storage be compulsorily stored in OYO rooms. CP advised taking note of the ID card and other details when booking the OYO room. Police Commissioner Mr. CV Anand IPS warned that action would be taken if the rules were not followed.
Meanwhile, city police commissioner Mr. CV Anand IPS said the Dark Net website was being monitored. The accused was arrested by the Narcotics Unit under tight surveillance. A total of 11 people were arrested in drug cases. He said most of the accused were software engineering postgraduate students who had previously given counseling and left students, claiming that those students were using drugs again and hence the students were arrested.
