Palakkad: The Palakkad district Police won the award for the best performing district in the country with the highest number of home visits, using the M-Beat system associated with the Janamaithri security program. For the district, the Deputy Superintendent of Police Narcotics Cell. Mr. Babu K Thomas IPS received the award.
The Palakkad police were very hard working and wasted no time and utilized all the time given to them in a productive manner and they were focussed on making the district free from COVID-19. So they devised a plan and schedule by which they will be able to visit all the people as far as possible and give the necessary assistance and at the same time identify if there is anybody affected by COVID-19.
